6KW Fibre tube Laser/Saw
With the capacity of 300m round tube and 250x150mm rectangular spectrum, our Tube Laser Saw is perfect for laser cutting. We can accommodate a wide range of intricate profiles, whether they are purpose-made shapes or aluminium extrusions.

Production of a part out of aluminium extrusion
We can produce your part within 30 minutes if we have the profile and the step/iges files readily available. We are not restricted to aluminium only, we can laser cut all ferrous and non ferrous materials. Do not hesitate to contact us with your queries.
Laser Welding
Fibre laser welding is where the active gain medium is an optical fibre doped with rare-earth elements like ytterbium. It’s known for its high-power density, excellent beam quality, and energy efficiency, making it one of the most advanced and efficient laser welding technologies today. The trick in Laser welding is that it does not heat the entire material but only heats and fuses the area of the joint. We at Process Development have mastered the art of this process and assure zero or minimum distorted welding joints, a precision weld of tolerances of ±0.5mm.
How Fiber Laser Welding Works:
- Laser Generation: The laser beam is created inside a doped optical fibre using diode lasers as the pump source.
- Beam Delivery: The beam is transmitted through flexible fibre-optic cables to the welding head—this allows easy integration with robots and CNC machines. We have already coupled our welders to Cobots and our CNC machines
- Welding Process: The intense, focused beam heats and melts the materials at the joint only, forming a precise and often very deep weld resulting in fusion welds rather than joint welds, this provides a precise and strong welded joint.
